Odessa: Panoramic City Tour Breakfast. Panoramic city tour including Primorsky boulevard, Shevchenko Boulevard, named after a famous Ukrainian poet, legendary Potemkin Steps - an entrance to the city from the sea, magnificent Opera and Ballet Theatre designed by 2 Viennese architects in a French rococo style, Duc de Richelieu’s Monument - a founder of Odessa, Alexander Pushkin’s Monument, Dormition Cathedral, Vorontsov’s Palace. Free time. Optional visiting the famous Opera and Ballet Theatre. Dinner. Overnight. Jour 3: Odessa – Excursion “Jewish heritage of Odessa” Breakfast. Excursion “Jewish heritage of Odessa”: Jewish hospital, old Haskalah centre, houses where famous writers and founders of Zionism used to live, Holocaust Memorial, place of the death camp Bogdanovka, qarter Moldavanka. You feel the atmosphere of the city where on the eve of World War I one third of the population were jewish and spoke Yiddish. During the excursion you will visit the Synagogues, Migdal society and the museum founded by this society. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight. Jour 4: Odessa – Excursion “Literary Odessa” Breakfast. Excursion “Literary Odessa”. For the two hundred year's existence Odessa has found the richest literary history connected to names of A.Pushkin, N.Gogol, A.Ostrovskiy, V.Korolenko, I.Bunin, A.Kuprin, A.Mitskevich, M.Tven, Sholom-Aleyhem, V.Kataev and many, many other writers, poets, playwrights. Visiting the Odessa Literature Museum. The museum was set up in 1977 in the Palace og Counts Garagins. The palace, built in the 19th century was later donated to the Odessa Literature and Theatrical Association. The collection of the museum amounts to 40,000 exhibits. It represents the works by Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Jewish, Bulgarian etc. writers and illustrates their links with Odessa. The list includes about 300 names. Dinner. Overnight. Jour 5: Odessa: Excursion to Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi – Shabo Breakfast. Excursion to Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi famous by its fortress. The fortress has no equal in Ukraine, being most dramatic medieval monument. It is located on the high bank of the Dniester estuary on the foundations of the antique town of Tira (5th c. B.C.). Within centuries the walls and towers were continuously renovated to ensure the defence from different armaments. After 1812 the fortress continued to be the pillar of the south frontier defence system of the Russian empire at least 20 years onwards. Continuation to Shabo – place of famous winery. Since ancient times, Chabot - pearl of the Ukrainian wine making. "Company Shabo is an example of modern wine-making complex. It is the unique sandy soil and 1000 hectares of own wine yards, a huge warehouse with total area of 100002 meters modern European equipment for grape processing". Wine tasting. Dinner. Overnight. Jour 6: Departure Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
